It’s often hard to escape the mounting barrage of responsibility and ever-present technology in today’s fast-paced world. Many of us report being busier than ever, yet we’re less fulfilled. Although we are more digitally connected, reports of loneliness and feelings of isolation are skyrocketing.  The UK recently appointed a minister of loneliness to address this growing issue, with research showing that loneliness not only feels bad, it significantly increases the chance of premature death.  And even as we become more secular, it’s still difficult to find time for ourselves, to identify our needs and fulfill our desires.

Flourishing Skills Groups®, created by The Flourishing Center, were developed to honor time, space and community around profound personal growth. A chance to unplug and tune inward, while building a supportive and like-hearted community, eager to support and learn from each other.

Flourishing Skills Groups® are 10-week immersive group learning experiences in an intimate setting of up 10 people. Each session presents a new skill in positive psychology, which will be explored, empowering you with research-backed strategies to thrive and flourish amid your busy world.

Northbound’s first Flourishing Skill Group® will launch Tuesday, April 10, and will meet for 10 consecutive weeks from 6-8 p.m., in a private space at Greenwood Winery & Bistro, 6475 Collamer Rd., East Syracuse. All participants are interviewed to ensure a good fit for the program and address questions.

The cost of the program is $250 if paid in full by March 31.  After March 31, the cost of the program is $300, which is also the cost if you opt for the 3-month payment plan.

If you would like to further explore the program, please email me at jj@headnorthbound.com to set up an interview.
